EU-Project Planning Tool
This web-tool has been established for development of European projects.
As nearly all EC-projects have a transnational component there is the demand of an effective collaboration already in the application phase.
There is the need to exchange information to upload details of partner organisations and partners' contributions.
A common "growing" project database is needed to complete the proposal and to compare the state of development of own parts with those contributed by other members.
We think that it is evident to combine both collaborative and communicative tools in one platform enabling our partners to work together in a sustainable and productive way from different places and at different times.
Components
The EU-project development platform consists of the following web-based collaborative instruments:
- Blog for posting archiving contributions and comments
- Project Development System (PDS) for building the project step by step
- Online Room for regular online communication
The platform is currently used by LLP and 7FP partnerships
